was found guilty of breaching a restraining order which prevents
her harassing the family of a police officer. Mathias, who works in
a factory and is a part time carer for her elderly mother who is
blind, was given the order in November 12 to stop her entering a

Eastgate Street, Kings Walk shopping centre and the market at Kings
Square are all looking busy as people pick up some bargains. Many
of the shops stay open until 5.30pm today such as Primark and
Superdrug, while Debenhams will close at 6pm. But stores such as
H&M are hoping to beat other retailers in the race to start

deep potholes in a small cul-de-sac in Podsmead – and said they
feel forgotten. Those living in Romney Close said the number of
potholes in the road have increased but now holes are also
appearing in the pavements too. David Hilsley said he has to walk
in the road instead of said using the pavement. "The pavements are
in a poor state. I believe the pavement became worse after cables
were laid by Telewest more than 10 years ago....

stand for election again in May. The Conservative councillor for
Longlevens has announced his plans to seek re-election in the May
22 local elections. In 2010, Mr James was elected with 54 per cent
of the vote – and 2,958 votes for his name compared to 1,686 for
Liberal Democrat candidate Jayna Tyler, who had a 31 per cent share
of the vote. Next year 15 city council seats will be up for grabs
out of the 36 in total. All 15 wards...
